At Super Bowl I in 1967, 15 year old John Beiver snapped a photo of the first touchdown, and he hasn’t missed a game since. Now with a 30+ year career at Sports Illustrated and 50 Super Bowls under his belt, Beiver takes a look back on some of his favorite memories and his most cherished photos from past games.

As one of only four photographers who can claim that they have shot every Super Bowl game, Beiver is something of a seasoned Super Bowl pro. He’s witnessed numerous changes in both photography and the game itself, from the rise of the digital camera to the creation of fake fields. CBS News caught up with the legendary photographer to discuss his life, career, and how he feels about the ever-changing world of sport’s photography.
