We all weren’t born to be artists, by Google’s latest app will help supplement raw, artistic talent with virtual reality tech. Tilt Brush, an app that lets people paint in a 3D environment through virtual reality, enables every dreamer and creator to become an artist by turning any space into a canvass. Not only can you paint on a virtual canvass through Tilt Brush, you can create a 3D work of art and actually walk around your masterpiece as if you were viewing it hanging on the walls of the Louvre.
Speaking of all things Parisian, the Google Cultural Institute in Paris chose to show off the amazing capabilities of Tilt Brush utilizing an HTC Vive VR headset. Artists from the US, UK, Mexico, Cuba and South Africa donned the headset and created some stunning virtual creations which you can see in the video below. Tilt Brush opens a new avenue in the artistic world by applying VR technology to the creative, artistic process in ways that haven’t been done before. With Tilt Brush, anyone can become the next virtual Picasso – your only limit is your imagination.
