Lumoid’s operations manager, Zachary, opens up his bag and shares what he’s been shooting with. Two cameras you ask? So did we. Here is what he had to say about the Nikon Df vs. the Fuji X100S:
“I shoot a lot of street scenes and I carry both cameras so that I don’t have to change lenses. I love carrying the Fuji because its lightweight, small and inconspicuous. I can wear it and nobody will notice me with it. When it comes to longer focal length lenses, I really want to use a full-frame sensor. I use the 50mm f/1.8 Series E lens (one of the smallest 50mm lenses Nikon makes) on myNikon Df for that reason. I carry the Df because its lightweight and one of the highest quality sensors and processors compared to other cameras on the market.”
So, is there a winner of the two?
“I like the way the Nikon Df feels but for shooting street scenes, I’ve been using the Fuji X100S more.”
